Welcome to Village Ten (X). We’re dedicated to giving you the very best in storytelling, with a focus on culinary history, speculative fiction, and Black and Indigenous technologies. 

Village X creators work to preserve our heritage and food-ways by weaving together techniques and inspiration from culinary and speculative literature. You can usually find us kitchen witchin’ – performing alchemy in the kitchen and on the page. Since 2020, our ten volume zine series has brought recipes, short stories, gardening advice, and research and more to thousands of homes. We are sustained by the knowledge that in every future we have we will need to reach into the past and find that which comforts and nourishes. So we collaborate to collect our memories and protect our soul food.
